As Chief Deputy Clerk of Effingham County Superior & State Court Clerk’s Office, Kelly Hoffner has been serving Effingham County since 2020 in various roles, and her passion and experience is in customer service and organization. Kelly is often behind-the-scenes or in the courtroom, taking on an internal managerial role – she plays a crucial role in assisting the Clerk, Walt Lawson, directly in all the Clerk’s Office operations.  Some of Kelly’s responsibilities include keeping case files maintained, coordinating communication amongst multiple legal departments, directing Jury Selections, and investigating technology or case issues.
