Benjamin Herndon
Deputy Clerk State Court Criminal
Benjamin Herndon joined the Clerk’s Office staff as an undergraduate intern in 2022. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Georgia Southern, he returned to the Clerk’s Office as a full-time employee as Deputy Clerk of the State Court of Effingham County in August of 2022.
In his capacity as Deputy Clerk in our State Court Criminal Division, he processes and maintains all State Court Misdemeanor Criminal case files, sends out notice of hearings, as well as transmits all final disposition and sentencing information of State Court cases to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Criminal History Division.
